2026 QLSP Application

Thank you for your interest in the Quaker Leadership Scholars Program at Guilford College!

Applicants do not need to be Quaker or have any relation with a faith tradition to apply for this program. Students who are best suited for this program bring an interest in building spiritual community with other "seekers," and in exploring Quaker faith and practice, and the Quaker Values of the school in your time at Guilford. We look forward to getting to know you more through this application and interview process.

Before filling out the application below, please take a few moments to read this letter from the Director.

In QLSP we regularly engage in Quaker practices, anti-racism/ anti-oppression work, and service. The following questions are helpful for us to gauge your prior experience and comfort level engaging with these core pieces. They are not, however, used to analyze or judge prior experience, but to understand your willingness to engage in this work.
Essay Questions: 200-500 words each
(We encourage you to write these in another document then paste responses here so you don't lose your work. We are looking for your own thoughts and understanding, essays using AI will be asked to be resubmit.)

2.) An interview with the QLSP Director will be required as a part of the application process. If you're planning to visit campus, please tell the Admission Counselor (admission@guilford.edu) that you will need time for a QLSP interview. Otherwise, Liz will reach out to you to schedule a zoom interview. Additionally, please note that recommendation letters you submit toward your Guilford application will be considered toward your admission into QLSP.
